Grand Stay

Dear Management, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel grand stay Trichy. The experience was marred by several issues that need your immediate attention. Firstly, the staff's behavior was unacceptable. Upon reaching the hotel at 5:45 pm, we were treated rudely despite informing the hotel about our delayed arrival due to traffic. The staff claimed to have canceled our room, even though the booking app showed our reservation as confirmed until 11:00 pm. Furthermore, the staff's unprofessionalism continued as we were asked to move away and were subjected to derogatory remarks. It was disappointing to receive unofficial messages about the cancellation, adding to the confusion. The alternative room provided was subpar compared to our booked deluxe room. The room was small, the door lock was troublesome, and the bathroom had a leaking tap. We were also charged an extra amount of 1700, whereas our booking through the app was for a deluxe room at 1500. The entire experience left us frustrated, and the staff's lack of customer service skills was evident. As individuals working in the customer service field, we believe in the importance of treating customers with respect and understanding. The way we were treated does not align with basic hospitality standards. We hope you take this feedback seriously to improve your services and prevent such incidents from happening to other guests. Deat sir, I saw the recent Swathy balaji 's review...same thing happened to me and my family on 24th of december;4 days before...i booked a deluxe double room.(around 1600rs per day)On 24th of Dec when I boarding train from Shornur station I got a call from this hotel and they informed that my booking was cancelled due to some problem..I asked what was the problem they told me that they didn't have water in their property and some maintenence work is going on...and I didn't get any mails from this property regarding this...and they didn't even bothered that we have 3 member family including a child...and our arrival was at 10pm...and we didn't take risk to go there at night with family and begging for another room...I'm lucky enough to get another property (that is 6km from city...still we managed.) Very Very bad management....I never Suggest this property to anyone.. Arun Thrissur

The hotel is located in a narrow lane behind Kalyan Jewellers adjacent to Indira Gandhi College at a 10 minutes walking distance from Chathram Bus Stand (local buses start from here) The AC was clean, compact and cute with a very clean rest room. Hot water is available in the rest room. No towels, soap, shampoo, drinking water will be provided. The reception gentleman Mr.Santhosh was very friendly and helpful. We cannot get any room service. One needs to go out for even tea or coffee. No car parking facility. The rooms are budget friendly.
